For one night only that’s gonna have our eardrums ringing ‘til next weekend - us here at the Echoplex, are sooooo excited to host the And Always Forever Show by Bassvictim this fall on Saturday, November 8th AND Sunday the 9th — two nights that promise to shake the city with bass, synths, and raw underground love for electric dance music. Taking place as part of Los Angeles’ first-ever all-ages electroclash and shoegaze festival, this is a show for the real ones who crave the heavy, flashing strobes, and that raw DIY energy that LA nights were built on. And for this night -  the spotlight is all on our host for the night, the London-based duo Bassvictim. If you’ve been looking for a new show that feels like an underground warehouse rave out in the UK but still is oh so fun and pure when it comes to real sound - well, welcome home. 

Bassvictim are the London-born bass duo made up of Maria Manow on vocals and producer Ike Clateman. Over the last few years they’ve been making massive waves in the electroclash revival and brought it to the mainstage across the world. Their sound — a chaotic blend of punk, dancefloor-ready basslines, and icy synth textures — has taken them from the underground to major festival stages across Europe. Tracks like Forever Salty, Canary Wharf Drift, and Curse Is Lifted have earned them a cult following online, while their live shows have been described as “equal parts performance art and total club mayhem.” And now, this duo is reshaping the sound for a new era of bass music in the scene that we decided needs to be taken global. And lucky for y’all - we’ve got two nights that we aren’t forgetting once the sun rises.

But that’s just the headliners folks - the ringleaders of all the madness. And Always Forever is PACKED with a Saturday lineup of legends and newcomers dropping into the mix. Martin Rev, co-founder of the pioneering duo Suicide and one of electronic music’s original disruptors; Drop Nineteens, the shoegaze heroes whose shimmering guitars defined a generation; White Ring, who bring darkwave and witch-house back to life; His Name Is Alive, Locust, Natural Wonder Beauty Concept, Evanora Unlimited, she’s green, and DJ MEGAN23 round out a lineup that feels like a sonic fever dream — all spread over two days for some headrocking madness/
